oil consumption
At 4030 miles I got the "add 1 quart message". Any need for concern about oil consumption? Had the car since October 2010, mostly short trips in a cold winter.

It seems that people who baby their vehicle thoughtout break-in never achieve a good ring/cylinder wall interface. I've been a believer in this theory for a long time. It's best to fully excercise that engine periodically
No, 1 qt over 4k miles is hardly noteable.
