Ok I just traded my 2013 monsoon grey for a 2015 3.0T Glacier White with black optic a week ago and the dealer said I have to wait for the car since they don't have it in their inventory. I got a call today for the dealer saying that they can't find any Glacier White Or Ibis white with black optic in half of US...they told me I can either wait until this is one available( they don't know how long is the wait) or I can get a different color Q5. Any idea if that is true?

I was told the same thing when I ordered my SQ5 in December. Had to get it special ordered and it took about 3 1/2 months. Worth the wait though.

I had to order my SQ5 with glacier white and HGB as well. I hate all the chrome and the black just transforms the look of the car. Very worth the wait to me.

Yeah, I love the black optic and hate all the chrome on it. Black on white is the best combination to have and make the car more sporty. 3 months seems like a long wait...

I asked the dealer to special order it but they told me since its late 2015 they can't special order it but wait for one that is available which they say it could be 3 months of wait.

I just told the dealer today that I will wait for a white one today but it makes me worry that there is no garentee that there is one available out there. They told me it could be 2 weeks, two months or even longer. They told me all they could do is check every two or three days and keep me posted. I am not sure about maybe I should go with other color.

Yeah white on black is the most beautiful color combination out there but bad thing about it is how popular it is. Any opinions on what other color is nice with black optic?
