Needed to access the green screen to enable the Aux port for my CarPlay to work. Ordered a OBDeleven dongle for $158, then found this:

An $11.06 script! Ordered it, installed it, perfect, then cancelled my order for the OBDeleven dongle.

So simple, so cheap...

I'm assuming the CarPlay mod was a third party unit - would be interested in the difficulty of installation and which unit you purchased. I have a 2018 Q5 (MMI) that I want to add CarPlay to.

This worked a treat for me today on my 2015 Audi A4 Allroad 2.0 TDI with MMI 3G+. I unzipped the files onto an SD card, put it in slot 1, pushed a button to run the script when asked, rebooted the MMI and was able to access the green screen menu (car and menu buttons) to turn on the setting to rip from cd to Jukebox. Many many thanks indeed.

I did this and it changed the background of my mmi this white color with like the navigation int he back. I still could not get the green screen either

HI, does this work for a a6 c6 2011 software version BBT guess that is mmi 3g basic without navigation.

You have a totally different system, 3G and 3GP have HD, and your RMC system does not
