Default NE 1 try to swap 20s for 19s at dealer?

Has anyone purchased the S line option on the 3.2 and had the dealer swap 20's for 19's? Or would anyone pay to swap 20's for 19's plus cash? Really want the S package, but can't use the 20's.

If you swap the rims, wouldnt the only difference between a 2011 3.2 and a 3.2 S-line be only the steering wheel?

My dealer swapped 18's for 19's with another car they had in inventory no problem.

This topic came up when I bought mine, and the dealer told me that they used to swap wheels upon customers' request but stopped doing so because it became an issue when people would return leased cars. He said that someone would come in and buy a car but would want the wheels from another car, and that car would sometimes end up being leased. When the leased car was turned in, the equipment on the vehicle didn't match the description that Audi had on file from when it left the factory so it caused a bunch of problems. Of course, I'm sure it varies from dealer to dealer.

If you're in the Chicago area we'd be open to swap our 19s with your 20's.
They have about 4500 miles on them now.

Interesting point. The interior trim is aluminum instead with a special black headliner. But you already get the S line trim in the 3.2 standard. I guess if the wheel difference would be $1,000, then the wheel would only be a $500 option. Pretty much worth it with the other trimmings. If the 20's are not worth much more in a swap, then the choice is probably not a plus. I'd definitely get the 20's personally, but we've gotta drive the damn thing in the snow.
