My Q5 Arrived and I am in Heaven
For those of you that don't remember me, I'm the guy that ordered the 2012 in June with the wheel design and color confusion. Well it turns out the dealer was just as confused. So instead of a Q5 Prestige with walnut trim, I got a Q5 Prestige, with the S-Line and S-Line Plus options (aluminum trim). This got me the 20" titanium wheels w/summer rubber just because. I ordered the Daytona Gray color, which matches the wheel color nice. Of course this order also turned out to be a "black-out" exterior trim look with the brushed aluminum interior. At first my wife said "let's order what we want", “this is NOT what we ordered”. In front of us we had exactly what I wanted, and I needed help after my jaw dropped to the ground. When my wife noticed another couple sitting in "our" order she swung around and said to the sales manager"we'll take it".
You have to take a moment to visualize the differences; deep gray wheels vs silver, brushed aluminum vs walnut trim, 20" summer/winter tires AND wheels vs 19" silver 5-spoke & all season.
