Default Lost ring under Q5 seat

Fellow Q5 drivers, has anyone lost anything under your driver side seat? Question may sound a bit silly, but underneath the sliding rail for your seat, there is a hole where you can potentially lose your valuables, like a ring!

Anyone had this issue before? How did you remedy it?
I know I can always bring it in to Audi Service to remove the seat and rail and recover the ring, but the price may not be worth considering the price of the ring.

Thank you in advance!

Haha, great reply, but this may not do. The ring fell in and it seemed to have moved to the other side underneath the seat.
Seems almost impossible to retrieve it without removing the seat carpet. but how!?

Yep, if all else fails, get out the roach clips and all will be well.
Good call, TD!

Did your wife buy the story ? (joking)

I haven't personally lost anything but did drop things around the area. Can you look to vacuum it out?

Wow Thanks, where did you get this? Is this information something you can disclose?

Default Yeah... nothing valuable but I've been there

It happened on my wife's previous 09 Q5. The little black top of the MMI "mouse/pointer" fell through that hole on the carpet.

Impossible to recover.

I even did a few clean cuts of the carpet with an Exacto to be able to fold that and open a bigger entry and nothing worked, underneath is like 4 inches of a hollow area.

If you don't get it out, probably will develop into an annoying rattle. There has been another forum post about a similar situation before, not sure if it was here or on another forum. The owner eventually had Audi take things apart to recover the part (coin I think it was). In that incident, it was the rattle and sound of the coinn sliding around on every turn that became the issue.
