I’ve searched the forums but have yet to find a list of the 100ish most useful adaptations possible thru VCDS or OBDEleven. Has anyone found one or put one together?

Also want to thank the experts on this forum for sharing their knowledge and collective experience... we all benefit from this brain trust.

I found (on OBDEleven forum) disable door chime when opening the door with ignition ON or engine ON.

Disable door beep
46 Comfort System > Adaptation > Channel 98 > change value from 1 to 0 (zero)
Then:
46 Comfort System > Coding > Long Coding > Byte 15
Activate/check bit 0 & bit 3.

If no check boxes there so, need had to put in the binary: 01001111

After using this binary, the last two digits for my coding changed from "00" to "4F"

I can confirm that this coding does work. No more incessant beeping when I open my door. FINALLY!
I used VCDS v21.3 and there was no tick box so I had to manually enter the binary code.

If you're tired of having to push the button on the wiper stalk in order to stop the beeping then this is the mod for you.

You are my HERO! That alarm sound is one of the most annoying things they could have added to the system for such a trivial thing. This should be disabled by default.
