I'm scared,,, 2015 Q5
I still don't have my Q5 yet and already I'm... worried.
I'm scared that when the 2015 Q5 comes out, it'll bring about so many great changes that I'll be worried I was "just a year off" of getting all those great things. The 2014 is the last year of the current iteration, isn't it?
When I got my 2007 accord, I was actually HAPPY because I found the 2008 accord became so large and not to my style, that I'm happy I got what I did and when I did...
Mainly, I am concerned I think about a lot of the interior improvements that are likely to come - whether nice new features/standards, newer MMI, etc. etc.
How do you others not let this bother you?

First off, there are always changes in the " latest and greatest", so I just say that I got the best version that is currently available. The slogan " new and improved" applies to most products that we can buy, so enjoy your new car, and don't worry about what is coming in the future.
The re-design of the Q5 doesn't occur until the 2016 model year. You will love your new Q5, and enjoy it for the years that it is yours.

There is always something better around the corner. If you always wait to have the latest, you will never get anything. At this time, there is still some speculation as to when the new Q5 will be coming out. Some say 2015, others 2016 and I even read somewhere it will be a 2017 model.
Make sure that you are happy with what you are getting and do not frett over what might be.

Firstly, I don't think we're going to see a brand new Q5 until the 2016 model year when the new factory in Mexico comes online.
More importantly, though, these days with the rate of change of technology in general, if you always wait for the next upgrade before you buy, you'd never buy at all.
For me, I'm just going to enjoy the heck out of my SQ5 (as soon as I get it fully run in, that is).

I think the next gen Q5 will be built in a new plant in Mexico. Something to consider. It might be best to wait a model year or two for the bugs to get worked out.

Too far down the road to worry about it. Besides, along with some improvements, there will likely be some things that go the other direction. The car will be made in Mexico, which is a huge unknown at this point. And Audi could make equipment and styling changes that aren't for the better. BMW has been going the wrong way for quite some time, Acura castrated the RDX with the 2013 redo, Volvo plans to eliminate the wonderful inline six from their lineup completely, and Ford/Lincoln seems to think that all customers that can afford higher trim levels want MyFordTouch standard. Manufacturers make bad decisions all the time. Don't assume the next Q5 will be better just because it will be newer.
