How many of you are expecting your Q5 to show up in late Sep/early Oct?

I assume this is Brunswick, GA since my dealer emailed me yesterday of the car at port. So from Brunswick to Atlanta, less than 7 days?
For some on the east coast....Grand Cosmo in Brunswick today and unloading!!
From what I have read, it takes about 3 days to clear customs and be handed over to transport. Then it gets assigned to a auto hauler (which may get loaded quickly or be delayed waiting for a truck). Then you got the drive to your dealer.
I'm hoping to have mine within 7 days from now. We'll see.
I'll report on the time frame from port to dealer (My dealer is about 350 miles from the Brunswick Port).

Almost here! Current speed is 12 knots, which it will maintain for about 1 more hour. I then expect it to travel at about 6 knots through the ship channel, for another 12 knots or so.. So, 2.5 to 3 hours it should be at the VW dock.
Here's something really interesting. This ship, the "Cougar Ace," is the same Mitsui line ship that famously nearly capsized with 4,700 new Mazda's on board in July, 2006. I had read the Wired article previously -- one of my favorite all time magazine articles -- and just now realized it was the same ship during a Google search.

I decided to go drive around the port to see if I could get a clear view of the M/V Cougar Ace
Sorry for the poor quality -- didn't want to attract any attention with a big telephoto lens. So, cropped pic from my phone.
On the way, I passed several carrier trucks loaded with new Beetles covered in white wrapping. Hopefully I can pick my car up in a couple days!

We ordered our Q5 in late August and the dealer told us to expect a December delivery. The other week the delivery schedule was moved up to the third week of October.
