How Does Prestige Make Sense?
Just wondering here, If you get the Prestige package, you get:
- AMI
- B&O
- Side Assist
- Adaptive Headlights
- Heated & Cooling cupholders
Add the costs of these as individual options on a Premium Plus
- AMI - $3,550
- B&O - $850
- Side Assist - $500
Total - $4,900
Yet the premium for Prestige is $7,500 so are you really trying to tell me that $2,600 is the cost of:
- Adaptive Headlights
- Cooling and Heating cupholders?
I cannot see adaptive headlights costing that much more. Sounds like a rip off to me unless someone can show otherwise?

I am in the same boat. You do get one more option though. Sun shades on the rear doors. Still, those three options are not worth the package price. My sun shades cost $500 and I got a rear power shade in my a6. Even my dealer said to go premium plus and fully option the rest.

AMI is Audi music interface with iPod integration which is standard in all packages to the U.S. market
Other differences that have the Prestige package:
- Audi advanced key—keyless start, stop and entry
- Color driver information system
- Audi connect® with six-month trial subscription

With Prestige, there's also the option of adding the Driver Assist package with Dynamic steering and adaptive cruise control. But all in all, it doesn't make much sense, unless you really want everything and have money to burn.

is standard on P+. At least it was on my 2013 3.0.

Premium Plus now comes standard with Audi Advanced Key and if you get the MMI you also get a color driver information system.
