Matter of taste, availabity , color and price.
Also, I switched to Castrol 0W30 european forumula *VW/Audi Spec OK (have used this for years) at 800 miles which should yield 0.5 mpg in any car over the likely 10w40 that comes in the crankcase from the factory. However, I am unsure of what actually is used in the factory. My dealer uses Quaker State 10W40.

I don't think so either. I didn't have the opportunity to drive the 2.0 before I bought mine...at the time, only 3.2s were on the lots of the surrounding dealerships, so I had to take a leap of faith. I am certainly not disappointed.
