Has anyone driven a 3.0T yet?
I'm not sure if they are arriving yet, but I seem to recall someone mentioning that theirs was due to arrive in early November. If you have, can you please fill us in on how it compares to 2.0T? Can the stop/start be defeated, and how? Mileage numbers?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Can't speak to the Q yet, but we drove an A6 loaner here in dfw area with the 3.0t and the stop start feature had a dash button that you could turn it on or off...
I chose off as it was very intrusive IMHO

Not only EU.
Stop/start feature exists in Australia, Asia, the Middle East....
Simply turns off:

Stop&Start also for US version, first 3.0T for US are being build this week / the call it KW45 for calendar week. some could have been made prior but most 3.0T currently tracked are week 45/46 assembly. Due to EPA test I anticipate MPG HWY for US means to be around 26-27mpg but that is speculation based on weight and gear box

Thanks for all the info. I guess the real answer is NO, no one has driven a US version 3.0T yet. I'm just restlessly waiting for my vehicle but it's not due to arrive until mid-January. The waiting is the worst part.

Same here with the 2013 A8L loaner I have right now. It's a 3.0T and there is a button on the dash to turn it off. Unlike the radio, it will stay off after the car is turned off, and turned back on!
