Nice looking vehicle, I wish you good luck with it. Hopefully you won't have the RR mechanic on speed dial.

Great looking cars and I test drove one a couple of months ago. Loved everything about it but the serious turbo lag that it has. Hopefully, they will get that worked out. Other than that, it was a nice car.

The drive felt a little more aggressive. while the Q5 felt smoother the Evoque felt more like a sports car. Both are great cars and you can't go wrong with either. But after driving it I just loved the feel and it looks stunning. Also the deal they gave was much better than any deal I could get on the new Q5. So I probably will be back in 3.5 years. Here is a pic.
goodluck!! last time i checked. They were on the top 10 Most expensive to fix. Ive seen their headlights go out quick.

I agree with everyone here. I actually like the way the Evoque looks better than the Q5, but reliability was the big issue for me.

I seriously considered the Evoque, because I love how it looks, until I found out it has an engine flaw where it will enter "limp mode" during rainy weather when one tries to pass at highway speeds (something about water condensing in the intercooler and causing misfires), that there is no heat from the "climate control" rear vents, they are simply directly vented to the outside of the underneath of the vehicle, and vehicle lacks many things that come standard on other vehicles in this class, such as auto-dimming outside mirrors. I think RR dropped the ball on a vehicle of this price.

Links below to forum threads about the engine issue, which for me was the number one factor that killed my love of the Evoque...

I'll be the dissenting vote, I guess, can't stand how the Evoque looks, personally. But I'm an aberration, obviously. (Taste is subjective, as are other opinions on the "feel" of a vehicle, so choice is always good. )

Good luck with the RR, hopefully it treats you well. It used to be a horrible brand for reliability, but hopefully that's changed, and as there's so much variation between individual vehicles you never can be sure what your experience will ever be anyway. (As people who've had terrible luck with the Japanese brands can attest. The problem could very well be "one in a million", but the more cars that are out there, the more likely someone will run into the issue.)

Thank you all for your comments. Hopefully I won't have any mechanical issues with it. By the way if anyone is looking for a winter tire setup for there Q5 let me know. I have a set on the classifieds for sale. Good luck to all of you.

My neighbor just picked up one in white. Very sharp looking vehicle. Enjoy and good luck.
