Full Tank of Fuel at Dealer Delivery
Hello everyone,
I just pulled the trigger and am joining the ranks of proud Audi owmers. My Q5 will be delivered sometime in early November. My question is will and should my Q be delivered to me with a full tank of fuel? My last new car (2007 Acura TL)was and it was even listed on the window sticker that it would be! Just wondering...at $4+ a gallon it would be nice. Thanks.

Every new car I've bought has come with a full tank of gas. I don't know why yours would be any different. It would be a really chintzy dealer that would not deliver the car full of gas.

I reckon I should. I am buying the car under the suppliers program and the salesperson and manager cried the blues about not making any money on the sale (although we all know they are are full of s**t). When I tried to get a set of rubber mats out of them (it was worth a try) they had the nerve to tell me that they were "quite frankly doing me a favor". I know...I could of used another dealer but let's not go there. So that's why I'm wondering what is the norm for Audi.

Every new car I've bought has had a full tank but it clearly states on my VW window sticker
"Fuel, license, title fees, taxes and dealer-installed accessories are not included."
This referring to the sticker price.

Mine was just above empty, but they gave us $60 cash for a fuel allowance...because the closest station was a significant distance away, and they don't drive the cars off the lot.
(Overseas pick-up, and it was just a small showroom rather than a dealer, so there wasn't any service dept. of any kind. Good news was that it only took 2 minutes of paperwork, since everything was done online and through fax/mail beforehand!)

Full tank of fuel is pretty much a standard now to all brands nowadays. My 04 A4 received full tank when picked up, so does my wife's Honda and brother-in-law's Subaru. I don't see why not for Q5.
