Default Front Turn Signal Lights

I would like to swap out my front chrome turn signals. So they look silver when turned off and amber when they are on. I had them on my other cars....think they give the front a cleaner look.

My problem is that I am can't find a cross reference chart for the light to order a new set.

I believe the correct replacement (Amber) is a Flosser 882 54073 620. I also found a part number N10733101 on a OEM part website. However, I can only find these in Amber.

I think a PY24W will work as well but can't find anything that will confirm that. I can find these in chrome and chrome LED.

They look the same on the internet but doesn't mean they are the same....plus kind of pricey to just buy a set to find out.

Has anyone done this yet? or can help me out with this?

Thanks

I found an OE part takeoff on eBay with the manufacturing label exposed:

The bulb type looks to be a PSY24W. You can find OE examples of the Philips Silver Vision, but high-power LED versions are nearly the same price.

I'm unsure if the Audi version requires special tabs but HPB lists their BMW LED part as compatible:

BMW Audi Mercedes PY24W 5200S Amber Ultra High Power LED Turn Signal Bulbs Error Free

Dan, let me know how it looks once you receive the bulbs. I suspect the link I sent you from highperformancebulbs.com will not work. The bulb needed for our Q5 uses a keyed socket (PSY24W) inside the bulb fixture, whereas the BMW-equivalent PY24W uses contacts on the outboard surface of the fitting.

If the bulb you received won't work, I found two more vendors with bulbs that appear compatible:

Error Free PSX24W 5200s LED Bulbs | Volkswagen GTi Turn Signal Lights

Turn Signals Error Free OSRAM H16 fits: Golf/GTI MK6 ? deAutoKey

You could always spray-paint the OEM bulbs silver. I did that with my wife's A4 a decade ago.

Yes, that is right, the h16 works error free and is bright in all Audi models:
Front Turn Signals H16 PSY24W Error Free fits: Audi A3 ? deAutoKey

That says a3 but it works with all Audi cars with the H16 5200S.

I am actually looking for a set of that are clear when they are off and amber when they are on. Sorry, not exactly sure what the official name of those kind of lights are called.

I bought these last year on ebay: 2x50W PSY24W HIGH POWER CREE XPE LED AMBER INDICATOR LIGHT BULB BMW & OTHER CARS.
Perfect fit and brighter than what iJDM offered last year, in my opinion.
