Anyone ever heard of 22ple. I am having my SQ done the 17th. Full paint correction and 22ple glass coating applied for $1350. Seems kinda $$$ but this guy is good (detail werkz Dallas) just not sure on the coating.

22ple is another great coating...known for being super-glossy. You should have no concerns about the product. I'm sure it will look great when the installer is done.

I'm going to get Modesta BC-05 when our Sepang Blue SQ5 gets here.
It has amazing gloss, especially on darker colors.

Thx for sharing this info. I was not familiar with this and will consider for our new TDI when it arrives later this month.

Any suggestions on ciating option if I keep the car over 7 yrs?

Any other good people inside the 610 loop in Houston that I can trust to install this?

Thx in advance for your responses

Just to clarify, Xpel Ultimate film and Opti-Coat are designed for different purposes. The Xpel Ultimate is to prevent paint chips and dings from road debris with its self-healing properties. Opti-Coat is to prevent paint damage from environmental causes, i.e. bird droppings and sun or acid rain damage. It also eliminates the need for waxing to maintain a gloss finish. The ideal protection is to do both. I have full front Xpel Ultimate and Opti-Coat over the full car.

Opti-Coat on top of the Xpel? Or just on the areas not covered by the Xpel?

Opti-Coat over the entire car including the wheels. Works fine on the Xpel as well. I checked with Xpel prior to installing the Opt-Coat and they said no problem adding it over the film.
