I decided to order the set that was recommended on this forum. They offered the option of adding the 4 LED's for the front/rear foot wells claiming that they were better (brighter) than the OEM ones, so I added them to my order. Also added the 4 piece Auto Trim and Molding Tool set as they stated that these are very useful in removing the interior lighting fixtures. Total order was $116.98.

Once I receive and install them I will post an update. Has anyone used these and if so are you satisfied? They claim that they carry a lifetime warranty.

A bit off topic, but I recently ordered some very nice LED bulbs for my kitchen, replacing the 50W halogens (GU-10 base) in my recessed fixtures. They are made by Soraa (LED-01141) 7.5 Watt equivalent to 50 Watt halogen. They are incredible... For those interested, check out www.1000bulbs.com. They have several versions, spot, narrow and wide flood.

We would like to have more information on this, it is the first we heard of any issues and we sold the LED footwells and tested in all Q5 Years.

Hey Barraged, I can't speak about the full kit, but I did purchase the Footwell Lights, and they are a vast Improvement. I have a 2016 Q5 3.0 with LED footwell lights stock and they fit perfect.

I purchased some LEDs a while back from a company and was not happy with the color differences of the bulbs.
