Easy one, If it doesn't fix (clear)itself then dealer visit. I wouldn't clear the fault with VCDS myself with a warranty available.

Figured it was just a fuel cap. Scanned it but did not clear the fault. Turns out it cleared on its on it's own today. Was just looking on feedback if anyone had experience with that type code before.

wouldn't be a bad idea to email your dealer to 'put it on record'

there may be a tsb that we don't know about

You may want to take it to the dealer.

When I took mine to the dealer, they told me there was an unadvertised campaign to correct the error. it required a computer flash.

I'll have it looked at when I go for the 5k service. Seems to be fine now.

That code is for the check valves that open/close off the air from the air pump into the exhaust. One of the common reasons is from moisture freezing it up. Did you have a change in weather from above to below freezing temps?

Yes. It's been fluctuating from 20's to high 40's day/night in the north east. Seems fine now. Cleared itself, no more check engine light.
