Brake upgrade on 2.0T - questions
I only have 5,000kms on my 2014 2.0T, so looking into this may be a bit premature but I'm curious so thought I'd ask. Generally I find that the brakes on the 2.0T are satisfactory, but when it does come to replacing, I will consider something more substantial if practical and of value.
What are people with the 2.0T generally doing for brake upgrades? Currently I'm thinking one of two options may be worthwhile:
1. Retain all OEM calipers and pads, just replace rotors with cross-drilled, slotted, or both for improved braking performance.
2. Replace all with 3.0T OEM calipers and pads.
The reason I haven't considered a BBK or RS kit is that I'm assuming the cost is more than I want to bear. I'm assuming option 1 above is economical and 2 isn't too bad as long as I can source the parts.

change the pads if you need more stopping power. i know the 2014 2.0T braking are not that great compared to the 2012 Q5 2.0T. no need to spend a huge amount on brakes if your not taking it to the track.
