I'm not too sure about that. With the supplier discount, the dealer gets 3% back from Audi. I had originally negotiated what amounted to 2% over invoice before realizing I qualified for the supplier discount. I got 2% shaved off the price, since 6% is right at invoice, and the dealer made 1% more. Unless of course those dealers were selling their Q5's at MSRP to some poor shmucks

You can get them directly from the media press release from each auto company's website... or the easier thing to do is go to prnewswire.com and use their search tool to look for the latest news. Make sure to select "News Release". The reason why I use them is because they publish the news release sometimes sooner then the auto company's own website.

I guess snakebite is taking a break from updating sales figures:

Let me try to help out on Q5 and its direct German competitors

I decided that after a year of doing it... we all got the idea of where the Q5 stands in terms of sales. I'll pick it up again if no one is gonna do it. I have an odd ball habit of keeping records of many different sorts of stat figures.

I'd bet the Q5 would sell more if there wasn't a 3 month wait in most areas. The X3 is built in the U.S. and is about half the time to deliver.

Q5 beats X3 for the first time since the 2nd gen X3 released in Feb, 2011. Good trend imo!
