Default Audi Black Exhaust Tips

Audi Part Number: 8K0071761A

Anyone have these installed? Everything I'm seeing says it's for 2.0T vehicles, and I was wondering if anyone has them installed on a 3.2? From what I understand the 2.0T may not have come with tips, and these just slide right on. Since the 3.2 do come with tips, would you have to unweld them first?

The tips just slide on. They'd fit both standard exhaust pipes.

Looking at the pick, the Audi part number is not what you posted. It says: 8K0 253 825 F

They slide on OK but I don't think you will find it easy removing the old ones,. assuming they are also "slide overs". These are designed to fit over the exhause pipes that come with cars with no tail pipe trim.

My 2.0T came without and I had the genuine Audi chrome pipes fitted before I took delivery at the dealership. They go on in a minute or so with a bit of light tapping using a rubber mallet. They slide over the existing pipe. No welding, cutting or adhesive etc needed. Once on though, the design makes it near impossible to remove. No worries about them being stolen!
