Audi 2016 Q5 Tire Recommendation
Currently living in NJ and looking to get new tires for my car. Which brand would be the best for all-season and where would be best to go for installation/ wheel alignment?
Currently looking at Continental CrossContact LX:

I'm partial to the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+.
I'm running them on my SQ5 as a 3-season tire, and I'm very happy with them.
I run a dedicated snow tire when it gets to true winter conditions...which I put on around Thanksgiving as a rule.

Eyc, welcome aboard! The Continental Cross Contact LX was fitted to our 2015 from the factory and was a great tire. We made it to 41,000 miles on that set. One year ago we replaced the tires and went with the Michelin Premier LTX. I'm a bit partial when it comes to the Michelin brand. I find I get an excellent life span from them and essentially trouble-free. This tire rides as well, if not better than the OE Continental tire.
I don't drive the Q5 often, but just completed a 1000 mile round trip and that simply confirmed for me that this is another excellent Michelin product.

Just had to replace the OEM Conti's on my Q5 at 40k. I put same tire size speed/load ratings as OEM and got the Michelin Premier A/S tire. Smooth as silk after the alignment and balancing by Audi and much better traction in bad weather than the OEMs. Would recommend them highly.

Contis are really nice tires at a good price but I've always blown through them in 30-35k miles. I seem to get better longevity out of pirelli and Michelin

I just got these for my Q5, they are suprisingly sticky and ride great in snow, rain and dry pavement:

I'm a Michelin-or-Goodyear fan. And since Costco has that nice "flats patched for free, nationwide" policy, and doesn't try to nickel and dime you on valves or whatever, I tend to go to them. No upsell for "nitrogen" fills, they just do it. If I live in NJ I might just go to TireRack (are they still around Paramus?) instead, odds are they have the tires IN STOCK and probably at a better price.
Nitrogen fills remind me of why we were always told our high school math and chemistry would be of some use someday. A regular air full is already some 80% nitrogen, a couple percent of other inert gasses, and the oxygen actually leaks out through the rubber faster than any of them. So, every time you top up the tires, you have a lower percentage of oxygen left in them. Until by the time you've topped them up for a year or so...you're running practically all nitrogen and inert gasses anyway. But hey, it sends the tire shop's kids to college...

I've stated this elsewhere but I'm surprised that I rarely seen Bridgestone mentioned. That's what I run and I'm extremely satisfied in all respects.
Redd's right-on with the nitrogen fill comments. When I had a garage I had a big tank for my AC servicing.I was regularly racing my Alfa and not once did I use my "free" nitrogen to fill my tires.Occasionally customers would ask about it and I would advise against it but sometimes they insisted so $5 a pop and I could buy single malt instead of a blend.
