Same reason that there are no thermo cup holders in Canada. It makes absolutely no sense. Anyone that knows this market knows that temps in winter get down to 40 below zero. Brrrrrrr. I can't think of a better place to have cup warmers!!

Agree on the Canadian cup warmer omission. It doesn't take a German genius to figure that one out.
All the other very practical comments and wants aside, where's my (purely cosmetic) black-out trim package?!

Are you saying that the plug that hangs out of the front of Canadian cars is not for the built-in latte maker. I always thought our friendly neighbors to the north were pampered.

The problem is finding a place to run the steam line into the interior. It flaps around badly when you tape it up along the hood and in through the sunroof. Chilly, too. We may be pampered, but we have our problems.

I think it said sport seats were part of the sport interior package. Are sport seats that great? Is it a cosmetic thing or are they really that comfy?

Sport seats are available as a part of the sport interior package for U.S. It includes sport seats, 3 spoke wheel with paddles, and 4 way lumbar.

It's avail. with either a black interior or chesnut brown.

2.0T order guides have been out since July 18th.

There's no official US order guide for the 3.0 S/C yet.

My local dealer won't place an order for a 2.0T until the pricing is released. I'm afraid I won't be able to secure one of the initial allocation cars, should I just call different dealers until I find a more cooperative one, or does it make no difference?

I long for the day I can just order a car direct from the manufacturer...

Cheers

Your local dealer isn't very bright and I'd call another one. Customers are already putting deposits on 13 2.0T Q5's

Most dealers and customers know there will be a slight price increase for '13.

You can always just work a deal on how much of a discount off msrp you agree to, if any at all and work it that way.

You could have cars @ the port with no pricing 2 months from now. And then you have to start from scratch.

Take your business elsewhere.
