The 2013 Q5 revealed

Release of order guide
Just got a call from my dealer. He said he will get the guide by wednesday(18 July) at the latest.
He will then be able to tailor the order of my 2013 q5 to my taste.
Next week I will post what he tells me about the possible delivery date.

I would be super curious about the 2.0T engine if you can find anything out. I just read a Automobile Mag online article titled First Drive - hah, not. But it states we get the old 2.0T.

In the NY area, the dealers still have a ton of Q5s (right behind A4s) in inventory. If so, I'll be waiting for a while. Of course, Audi could do a lease promotion and move a lot of them.

First it was the 13th, now it's the 18th....
I'll paypal $10 to the first person that can get me a 2013 Q5 order guide pdf. I keep thinking I should just order an A4, esp now if they aren't going to bring the new 2.0T to the states...

I visited my local dealer today (Saturday July 14), and was advised that the Q5 order guide would be in this next week. They seemed fairly certain this time. This would be from Audi Canada. I can't imagine that the US order guide would be any later.

The saga continues. Dealer called me again(18 July AM) to tell me the production is still on for Sep. and delivery in Oct. They have been given their allocations for the Sep. production, however he is still waiting for the order guide. He was told by Audi Canada to expect the order guide by the end of July. It appears that Audi Canada is still negotiating with the mother company the different configurations for the canadian Q5 models.
This waiting game kills me.

The efficiency benefits of an electric system are not in dispute but in common with a number of similar systems from rival manufacturers. Unfortunately, the Audi setup is disappointingly devoid of feel. At low speeds in particular it feels horribly artificial. If Audi, like BMW, continues to aspire to be regarded as a sporting alternative, then details like this are critical to improve.
