Here is hoping mine is delivered as quickly. We don't live that far apart so I can't imagine there would much difference in transit time.

after placing an order with a local dealer for invoice + 1200, i got a deal from another dealer(out of state) for invoice, don't know what to do. Is it worth the extra hassle?

Hitches not available
Heard from my dealer yesterday that all NE US dealers are advised that orders w hitches must be changed as they are not available for port installation. Authorized order revision to preclude delay in delivery. Perhaps now system entry will become complete soon.

I just heard from my dealer that the 2.0 moonlight blue/grey interior I ordered in September (with Premium + and MMI)was loaded on the ship on 9/29 and is due to arrive at the port on 10/25. He hopes to get it to the dealership within a couple of days by that so I can have the car by the end of the month.
My dealer traded with another dealer in order to get the color I wanted from their allocation.

Was on ship September 24.
Arrived at Port of Halifax October 1st.
Arrived to dealer October 5.
Delivery scheduled October 11!

My dealer offered $500 under MSRP for a special order. I think it's time to shop other dealerships and maybe even the X3 I've had my eye on. I know these cars are popular, but that just seems greedy to me.

Q5 is currently being built in Germany and it is slated to leave Europe
to Halifax on October 22nd. It will arrive in Halifax on October 31st.
ETA to Winnipeg is 3rd week of Nov
