I tried looking at it this way: A premium plus S4 costs about $15K more than a premium plus A4. A premium plus Q5 is around $40K, so on the same basis, I would expect the SQ5 to be $40K + $15K = $55K, plus options, right in line with your estimate. Well-equipped is going to be $60K-$65K

No #'s on performance, but my source says that it will be tuned slightly higher than the 333hp being output in the S4.
There will also be a considerable upgrade to the MMI system for all Cdn Q5's in 2014.
(Touchpad controls, carrier agnostic 3g/LTE connectivity, etc)

Aus media say that the SQ5 will be priced below the S5 which is a A$120k proposition here. Given the S5 leads out in the US at $50k I'd be betting the SQ5 would be very similar.
These price differentials between Aus and the US are very typical. In Aus the 2.0TFSI Q5 kicks off at about A$68k before you even add the on road costs (rego, dealer delivery etc) of about $3k then you start adding the options! Sometimes I think the ROW is subsidising car sales in the US.

Noodle,
It costs more because your turbocharger spins counterclockwise down under. Much Audi engineering went into making this possible for you to drive it. So they charge ya extra :P. Haha

Car and Driver gets behind the wheel . . .
Confirms we're not getting it in the States. MSRP in Germany is $58,200 (excluding VAT).

"Alas, the SQ5 TDI won’t come here; if we do get an SQ5, expect gas-fired propulsion, likely from an uprated version of the supercharged 3.0-liter six."
Canada at least will be seeing a 2014 3.0TFSI SQ5 with HP output beyond 333HP.
Remember... the original SQ5 concept of a couple years ago had the 3.0TFSI in it pushing north of 400HP.
I doubt we'll see THAT much, but here's to hoping!
