Default 20" S-Line Rims ...need new tires..Suggestions?

My Q is approaching it's tire replacement requirements.....Still have about 6 maybe 7K miles to go but would like to get your opinion on what you guys suggest as good replacement tire...

Wants:
1. Quite
2. Traction
3. Life

Right now it has Bridgestone's and they are ok but I've got friends with Hancook or Michellin which are pretty good (not on a Q5)

Michelin Latitude are great tires.
Quiet, good on all driving conditions, and will last for a long time.
I have not owned Conti's but hear that it's good as well.

Tire Rack lists the OE Bridgestone (summer truck tire) and a Michelin Pilot Super Sport as Best Sellers with the Pilot getting better reviews. The Pilot is a maximum performance summer tire, while the OE Michelin Lattitude Sport is a summer truck tire and costs $130 more per tire.

There are also some options from Conti, Dunlop, Goodyear, and Hankook as well but the Pilot SS gets the best reviews.

Michelin Lattitude Sport is a summer truck tire

These are the trucks:: Audi Q3 ,Q5 and Q7, Porsche Cayenne, Honda CRV, AMG Classe M, Volkswagen Touareg, Volvo XC60 and Range Rover Evoque. LOL

Michelin Pilot Super Sport not tire of SUV , but for sport car Porsche, BMW M and Ferrari
The difference in price is because: Pilot Super Sport made in US , Latitude Sport imports from Europe

As long as the tire meets the load requirements for the application, and the Pilot SS does, why would one need a summer truck tire over a max performance tire on a Q5?

Q5 is NOT truck, but SUV/Crossover

The big difference is Acceptable Alternative Tires
http://www.michelinman.com/tire-sele...0Option)/tires

Maybe Audi in cooperation with Michelin put tires Pilot SS on Q5 in the factory that the tires made for SUV/Crossover

Good luck with your choice of tires
