2.0t Gas mileage
#2
Hi,
I have only checked milage on the Audi Driver information system (computer calculated). As i understand it, it is a little optimistic. However, i am averaging about 30mpg according to this.
Keep in mind, i am a very conservative driver.
Hope that helps.

I've actually logged my fill ups and mileage with an app on my phone to get the true MPG vs the on board cpu. I'm up to about 26.5 MPG mixed about 60/40 hwy/town, but I'm become a conservative driver.
I'll still go the flow of traffic which maybe 60, 70 maybe 80, but I'm no longer smashing the gas light to light or when merging in.

Same here in terms of MPG. Only logged about 8K miles. On paper, I average about 19-20. Alot of local driving... traffic... and my wife and I tend to spurt in and out of traffic. Although, it is fun to try to get the computer to show 30MPG when I drive on the highway. So the car made me into a conservative driver on the highway. I do have to add that the winter months do show the worst MPG. Summer is around the corner, so I am expecting the MPG numbers to be higher. We will see.

Over 5,000 miles I have averages about 23.5 mpg according to the car computer.
Shrad6 - do you see a big discrepancy between the car computer and your personal calculations? Good to know the difference.

I use Fuelly to track the exact MPG and with each tank so far (1200 miles on the car) the on board tally is always about 1 MPG higher than what I actually am getting. But I'm at close to 24 MPG in mixed driving. 28 on the highway is routine.
