So being the brave one, I went ahead and ordered a set of these. I must say I'm very impressed with the design and the near OEM quality. I have to admit the price is pretty steep for aftermarket parts, however these are great for those who didn't get the S-Line when they bought the Q5 (e.g. US 2011,2012 2.0Ts or 2009,2010 3.2s) and don't want to shell out big $$ for full S-Line conversion kits.

The first picture is a comparison of the original standard OEM fog grilles (w/ added chrome fog rings) vs. these S-Line style fog grilles for standard bumper.

Did you have to remove the bumper for this install?

Nope not at all, since the front tow connectors are right behind these grilles, they come right off (refer to owners manual on how to pull them off). Total installation time is less than 5 mins for both sides.

Okay now I really want to get them. And I just ordered the chrome fog light trim. Oh well, they were only $14 anyways.
