Thru high school & college, I worked in a garage/gas station with a guy who said something that's stuck with me all of these years" "I know the limits of all my cars". ... and he did. In every aspect. Some sensical to me, some not, but who am I to judge?

Well, I'm proud to say, that while not always successful, I've been on that same quest... Thanks Mark for the useful info! Fuel pump cooling be damned!!
