I was looking forward to the NX, but the exterior styling isn't my cup of tea. Too much going on.. OTOH the interior looks good in pictures.

Since the NX has been released at the China show and already has a first drive article in Motor Trend, you can see that the body exterior and grill have been toned down. Still waiting for firm pricing.

The production version of the NX was recently released to the press, in Canada (BC I believe). It is toned down but still different than most in the segment except maybe Evoque. A lot of pictures are becoming available.

It will no doubt sell well, maybe to a different demographic than the Q5, X3 etc.

Lexus is clearly shooting for a younger demographic than their RX 350.

No one even talks about GLK ? i like the GLK350 somehow...

We shopped the GLK but just couldn't warm up to the exterior styling. We did like the interior upgrades with the '13 model year, and the smooth na V6.

I looked at the Evoque 2 door and really liked everything about it better than my SQ5 but the engine. I also looked at the Jeep a Grand cherokee too

I've been in and drove the prefacelift GLK and it was just awful.. if the seats were carried over it should not be on anyone's list. Stiff back after riding for an hour.. what a joke.

The only other car in the segment I'd have other than the Q5 is the X3. Exterior isn't as sharp but possibly better driving dynamics and is as good everywhere else.
