Crashed Q5 -> replace S-line parts?
My sister drove the Q5 into a building column last monday, no airbag deployment but pretty much all the of the front end, plus the hood, left fender, left wheel well cover, and who knows what else underneath, needs to be replaced. I don't have photos of the damage since I left shortly after the accident for school. The left corner of the front end was pushed in about 2 inches or so, and a silver metal structure member (part of the frame?) is exposed, but couldn't tell if it was bent.
A lot of 3 series owners take the opportunity to upgrade to sport/M-sport package bumpers during an accident using their insurance, and I was reminded by the idea while searching for potential replacements incase the car is totaled. So now that I'm in this pickle, I thought, why not upgrade the front end of my vanilla looking Q5?
Has anyone done the conversion themselves? If so, are the S-Line parts any more expensive? I understand the parts are plug and play, right? And finally, does anyone know what the S-line bumper looks like with the non-s-line 18" multispokes?
