Default Pre-certified or not?

A number of dealers have 2014 pre-certified vehicles with a range of 2,200 - 7,000 miles in stock. Some seem like dealer loaner cars and others appear to be leased vehicles. Would you consider being a pre-certified audi vehicle?

Negative on loaners seem to is that people might have treated the car like "crap" since it was their loaner...?

I've never owned or considered pre certified before.

As the new 2015s are coming out what would you say is a good deal for a pre certified or new 2014?

All dealers in California talk about how the Q5 is the hottest selling audi and don't seem to be open to much negotiations.

Nothing wrong with going CPO. With very low mileage, you pretty much have the full balance of factory warranty, plus an additional 2 yr/50k once that runs out (only paying deductible, $80 I believe).

I would never buy a used German car without a CPO extended warranty.

This is my view as well. CPO is a great value. You save on some depreciation and get an even longer warranty.

I spent an extra $2,500 or so extending the 3-year CPO to 5 years/100K (total) miles, starting at 36K. I only drive about 8-9K miles per year so will hit the clock before I hit the miles (as I did on my 2008 Mazda CX-9, only 50K miles in 72 months of driving). Peace of mind, baby, peace of mind...

I believe the dealer states the car already comes with 4 years / 50,000 miles but the cpo comes with an extra two years making it 6/100,000 miles. No extra charge for the extra 2 tears extending it to 100,000.

Seems like a cpo 2014 TDI for $46,000 with 6,000miles might be a good deal.

I really don't see to many people abusing the loaners. Maybe like hertz or enterprise but not from the dealer. Really all a CPO is is an extended warranty. Nothing more.
