I think it's pretty cool, but I don't have the ***** to do that to my Q5. I'd be curious of how it holds up to the weather elements. My wife would probably kill me if I did that. Looks cool! I have seen a Lamborghini with that treatment in Pittsburgh.

nice, definitely ballsy to do the whole car, but then again it peels off, so why not.

I've been meaning to do my winter wheels for a while now, already have the cans but haven't had time.

The painter was wearing a mask but realized that the material is so thick and heavy, the actual material doesn't really stay in the air, it all applies to the surface as it's sprayed. It's not nearly as thin as actual paint which "dusts" everywhere and is dangerous to breathe. He does use a mask normally.

Also, please note there IS a matte black car paint which is applied just like any other car paint and requires the same prepping as a normal paint job and also costs about as much as an actual paint job ($2,000+ depending on quality of work).

Usually, Lamborghinis are done with the real stuff, not plasti-dip...at least I would hope so.

It held up very well, but as mentioned before, it wasn't as thick as it should have been, so it's difficult to peel in certain areas.

Which do I prefer? The white looks so clean IMO but the matte black is just freakin sweet, for a lack of better words.

And everyone takes a second look. Looks so clean especially with the LED lighting everywhere.
