Default 5000 mile service today

In for the first scheduled service this morning mentioned that my brakes had squealed only once, no other issues. Service advisor said that some squeal and some don't but that Audi is working on a remedy. Was given an A6 Premium Plus as a loaner, surprisingly. Brought back memories of the 2.0 manifold noise in the past Q5, but it is a very nice sedan. No B&O option on this car and my ears immediately knew the difference.....that option is worth every penny. Also, the seats are not nearly as comfortable as the sport seats....bolsters make a big difference. I do wish my Q had heat in that sport steering wheel....that is nice!
Two different platforms, but between these two, I like my Q5TDI better than this particular A6 model configuration. Am awaiting the phone call so I can swap back......

You need to hear the Bang & Olufsen ® Advanced Sound System in the A6, it's a real B & O but the price ......$5,900 in US or 6,000 Eur in Europe

It's the best thing I've heard in a car

I heard it in a Q7 and it was incredible...as well it should be. Popped in a Sarah Brightman CD and was stunned at the clarity and brilliance of the mid-range response.

"Service advisor said that some squeal and some don't but that Audi is working on a remedy. "

Yes, hydraulic actuated disc wheel brakes are such a new technology that no one fully understands how or why they may sometimes make impolite noises. (ROFLMAO)

Obviously, the problem is not with your brakes, but the active noise cancellation system in your stereo is not working properly. Ask them to replace the stereo if they can't get the active noise cancellation tweaked. (WEG)
