Oil droplets in garage?
I searched but couldn't find anything.
Wife noticed some small oil droplets on garage floor. Maybe a dozen or so lumped together.
No car I've ever owned left oil in the garage.
Is this normal? Car has around 1500 miles on it only. 2014 2.0T.

Any oil added lately, or recent oil change where some residual might be dripping off from underneath the car?

From the location had to be from engine compartment. I haven't looked under the hood or under the car. I should do that next. Thought I'd check here in case anyone knew off hand what it might be.

might be lubricant droplets ? i would think if something sharp on the road could have scratched somewhere underneath. Or it's better to lift up your Q5 take a careful checkout.

Did you just get the oil changed? If so the drops should stop, or have stopped by now I'd think. If the oil was changed, the oil is probably from the oil filter area where it was removed and replaced, or the drain plug where they might not have replaced the crush ring. Even on my own car I've had it leak there when I reused the crush ring. Usually it never leaks at the drain plug unless it's not tightened up well enough, or the crush ring gets reused one too many times.

Car is new. 2 months old and not driven much yet. No new oil change recently.
I'm going to have to look underneath and see if I'm able to locate anything.
I've noticed a couple of times now when the engine is cold (not cold outside), the idle is very rough...to the point that the car shakes...but then goes away after the rpm changes from about 1200 to 800. After starting the car I always let it run for about 30 seconds or so before moving.
