Default 2014 SQ5 Pricing

Hello. Wanted to see what discount I should expect to get on a brand new 2014 SQ5 on the lot right now. I know the 2015's should be coming out shortly which should mean that dealers are motivated to get rid of the 14's. Seems like there are a good amount of 14's out there now. Thanks.

I got 7.5% off MSRP for a new SQ5 in early May 2014.

I got about 7% off my SQ5 ordered in April 2014. I agree, you should be able to do better than that for a 2014 on the lot now. Steve

Default strategy

If you go to Edmunds.com you will find dealers who offer "internet pricing" You'll also find dealers who sell in volume and will discount prices deeply if you fill out the forms you'll find as soon as you start doing research. You can use these prices as leverage on your local dealer and they just may meet the discounts.
It ain't pretty but we are talking about some fairly large amounts of money.

Do a new car search on Edmunds. You'll find dealers with cars in inventory and some of them will offer special internet pricing. Also do Google searches for new Audi SQ5 pricing and you'll find lots of newcarsonline type of sites where they get your basic info and turn dealers loose on you. Some of these guys are very aggressive and will keep dropping their price.
You gotta have the stomach to deal with these guys....they are persistant
Another thing is to join the Audi Club of North America for $50.00. After being a member for six months, you get a 6% discount. When I asked my dealer if they honored the disciunt they said yes. I said great, I'll be back in four or five months they said they'd give me 6% discount right away.
Good Luck!
