Default Bluetooth issues, no solutions from dealer

Hello,

My 2010 Q5 has been plagued with a problem for some times. The bluetooth microphone is working really badly when the car is moving. On the highway, you can barely understand the person speaking. When the car was still under warranty, I brought the issue to my dealer and their answer was to turn off the ventilation! Even by doing this, it doesn't improve anything.

I am curious to know if other people has this issue and if someone as a solution for me.

Thank you

Try this:
-Adjust Bluetooth microphone sensitivity
Hidden menu
Diagnose
Settings
Mic sensiblity - choose -6db/0db / +6 db

or with VCDS Microphone Sensitivity is found in Adaptation Channel

No difference. I tried with several different phones.

The problem seems to be with the microphone. There is some kind of noise that covers the conversation.

I have the non nav version so I am not sure there is a hidden menu.

I will look with my VCDS for that.

As I remember you need to look in
77-Telephone
- Adaptation Channel

I just played with my VCDS.

Lowered the sensitivity to -6 db, could barely hear myself when leaving a message on my voice mail.

Increased in to +6 db, far better! Even at 100 kph i could hear myself clearly. And as a bonus, it was pouring outside, so all I had the worst (best!) conditions to do my test.

Thank you all for your replies, this helped me very much!

Cheers

Martin
