Default Missing Head rest for 2012 Audi CPO vehicle

Hello There,

It shame on me to say this. I have realized after three weeks of delivery that the head rest of the middle seat of rear is missing.

Dealer is not responding me to my emails and calls. in one email they responded saying that they are checking with their manager on this etc.. I bought this vehicle from an out of state dealer. If i missed looking at this, this should be a part of CPO requirements that the dealer need to meet to get the vehicle certified, isn't it. It's kind of hurting me.

Any suggestions on how to proceed with this? is there anyway i can contact Audi individual via email or phone to report this issue with the dealer.

Thank you for your replies!

See if you can find the original listing pictures of the rear seats (with the middle headrest missing). This could aid you with filing a claim later on if the dealer isn't cooperating. If they are honest, they should even be able to provide you with the pictures to prove that they are at fault.

I took mine out the first day it was delivered. The headrest blocks vision when backing, and besides, the last time somebody actually sat in the middle back seat was the 32nd of Never.

Exactly that's what i am asking the dealer from the day i realized this. I am requesting to view the pictures posted by them in the cars.com or in another websites. They are not co-operating at all.

Unfortunately, i didn't save the pictures posted in the websites during sale of my car

If it was a CPO vehicle, there should also be a checklist. I think they have about 300 items to inspect and verify. It should be all checked off. The problem is that it is your word agains theirs without pictures. If they decide to be richards about it, you may be S.O.L.

I see the checklist having the option 'Center Headrest and Release' checked YES (check the attachment). Hope i can claim with the help of this checklist. I had taken some pictures on the day i took the car which clearly show that there is no head rest on the delivery day itself.

Is any body out there, did any claim thing before. If so, please advise on how to proceed. Appreciate your help!
