Default wipers in service position

Can someone please post a picture of their wipers in service position? My wipers only lift up half way across the windshield when in service position. Is it right? I have seen other Audi models (like A4) wipers go all the way up when in service position.

Thanks in advance.

They only go up partially to remove the wiper blades. Never really seen wipers go full vertical for service position.

It is true that wipers only lift up half way across the windshield when in service position.

I'll second that! The service position is about half way up. I believe it's a more convenient angle for removing/replacing the blades than if they were all the way back.

Yes, they only go up half way. If they went up all the way then the passenger side(right side) wiper would be very hard to reach.

Agreed. For us tall guys with orangutang arms, its not a problem. But I think Audi was thinking of non-simian owners when they designed the system.

Default A5 wipers

I drive a 2013 A5 Sportback. It now has happened 3 times that I will park my car and go into a shop and when I get back the wipers are in the service position. Any thoughts on that?
