Rear hatch button problem/solution...
It all started with a call from the wife. She was a little panicked in that the rear hatch would not close when she pressed the button...and it was raining. UGH! I told her to just grab the hatch and pull down and force it shut. She did with more effort than she thought it would/should take...but it closed. When I got home that night I messed around with opening and closing the hatch for a bit and discovered that the close button on the hatch would stick if pressed on the left side of the button. If pressed on the right it worked fine. Once the button sticks the door will NOT close unless manually forced to the closed position. Tapping on the button will release it from the stuck position. So it looks like I'll be needing a new button at first service time. No biggee. One problem that did come up was that now the hatch would not open all the way. After a bit of searching I found out(on the Q7 forum) the way to reset the rear hatch is to open it and then manually push it to the desired height and then press the button[on the right side for me ] for 5 seconds. The hatch will now open to this "set" position. I hope this helps someone with the same issue.

Just spray around the edges of the button.
