Is that trunk handle camera an Audi part? Or the question a different way. On a Q5 with nav but no rear camera would that + some wiring + the use of VDQS get a rear view on the nav screen?

I don't know...
Alls I know is that $3,400 for NAV and a backup camera is way too much.
I'm coming to the SQ5 arena from a background in SUV's, not in S4/5's.
My test drive in the SQ5 is the only one in a year to bring a smile to may face. the dealer says it will be in this week!
The panoramic sunroof is at least 100 pounds, on the roof! I expect handling better than that of other SQ5's.

Recent mention in the Wall Street Journal, discussing the auto business recently and Alfa Romeo's desire to re-enter the US market, incidentally said that VW has said that Audi has been "extremely profitable" for VAG.
Translation: Yes, there's a hell of a markup on anything with the Audi brand. And officially, that's the way they intend to keep it.

Bingo!
I can now officially comment on the improved handling, sans panoramic sunroof.
It is definitely noticeable, especially when the weight shifts back and forth, such as in a slalom. It feels at lot more stable, planted, and quick to change direction than with the glass roof. Along with that Crystaline tint, I expect it to be much cooler in the Texas Summers.
