Default Stasis Touring Package

I just finished installing the Stasis touring package (less the ecu for now) and with my own aftermarket wheels and tires. I am extremely satisfied with the look and the performance. I had the exhaust installed at my local dealer, as well as the suspension upgrade with stiffer springs, 1.5" lower ride height, better bushings and a bigger rear sway bar. The dealer got the Hartmann 20" wheels from Achtuning and the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 20" tires from Tirerack. I think these are the best looking wheels I have seen on an Audi. The are anthracite with a machined face.

The suspension package gives up little to nothing in comfort but just makes the whole car feel much more "lively" and responsive. The exhaust deepens the note significantly at idle, but smooths out and quiets as rpms rise - its really nice, NO drone but unlike any exhaust upgrades I've done before. The BIG and shiny tailpipes are really cool. Throttle response off the line is improved noticably.

I will be installing the ecu upgrade but want to get a few thousand miles on the car before doing so.

I will try to post some pixs (been YEARS since I haunted the Audiworld Forums with my 2001 S4).

Looks great! Any chance you could post a sound clip of the exhaust?
Also, what bushings did you use and what sway bar?

Congratulations. Looks great.

I'm interested in your opinion of the exhaust. I've had my Q with the Stasis exhaust for a couple of weeks now and can't say I am wild about it from a cabin noise point of view. You say you have noticed no drone, but it is something that seems to be there for me...especially for the first minute or so of engine warm up. High level of cabin noise. I know sound levels and note are very subjective, but do you experience the same? It settles down reasonably well after warm up, but boy, it's droney (a word?) at first...resonates heavily.

The drop and exhaust look great but I'm not a fan of the wheels.

Photoshop CS5 makes it easy. Even a chump me can make it work. The info is there you just have to make visible.

Interesting ... the wheels on your A4 were my second choice.
