Default NEW Mud Guard Link/Quesiton

Just purchased a new 2014 Q5 Premium Plus model in Lava Grey Pearl, love the color. Now, I know there are mud guard posts, I have read them all, I did find something I did not see which is this option below:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Free-shiping...-/200912881480

They look like they might be much better than the factory guards, I think those are a little meaty for me and a little blah. Only problem is these come from China so bye bye money if they stink when I see them, any thoughts or inputs on this?

You can see in one picture the guy is bending one and it states the plastic is soft instead of hard, seems better to me....

Thanks!

Oh, forgot to mention the fitment guide states these fit up to 2013, is there any difference in the bumpers for the 2014 model Vs. previous years?

No difference, except Sline vs not Sline body. These look like they will only fit non-sline (same limitstuons as OEM).

Awesome, thank you for the info, that answers my question and I will post pics when they are installed. I am hoping they wont be those big ice cream scoop looking OEM style

They come from China, it may be a couple weeks before I receive.

Ordered, found same ones for 35 bucks from another Chinese Ebayer who responded to my question if they would fit 2014, supposed to arrive from Nov. 14th-Dec 2nd. I am hoping they arrive sooner than Dec. 2nd, lol

So they upped the price to 40 bucks shipped but that is still the best deal and I received these in a timely manner. I really like the look, they are much less bulky than the factory guards and they bolted right on using only a couple of the provided screws, I used mostly factory existing screws and drilled no holes! I could have drilled a hole to attach them tighter with some provided hardware but I feel they are extremely snug without any drilling, no wheel removal either!!!

Not sure how these pics will look, dark here today...

Looks great. I think I'll order a set, too.

One question: how flexible is the material? Can you bend it with one hand like what they show in that eBay ad in your first post?

Thanks!

You can, it bends pretty well, I think the plastic is decent stuff. Cant beat the price either!
