2015 Delivery Times?

Of course it's your opinion.
Look at the data from my posts down.
How do you explain that SQ5 TDI with 365PS and 750Nm (which is 60% of torque more, than TFSI) accelerates for 4.9s
In Germany, all the tuning companies must undergo strict controls and tests to be able to get TUV approval. Their data are relevant

I was talking about the performance results that manufacturers (Audi included) use in their sales and marketing materials.
You were talking about results from aftermarket tuners.

S6 for 4s ????? You must be kidding
How do you explain this: S6 with 540PS and 680Nm 0-100km/h (0-62mph) 4,5s
[IM]http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee407/junspi/ScreenShot499_zpsa090e3af.jpg[/IMG]
Audi USA quotes the SQ5 at 5.1s for 0-60 mph (0-96km/h) not 0-62 mph (0-100km/h)
From zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.3 seconds
http://www.audiusanews.com/pressrele...354-dynamic-hp
or
It sprints from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.3 seconds

How do you explain that SQ5 TDI with 365PS and 750Nm (which is 60% of torque )more, accelerates for 4.9s
"Motortrend got 4.8 with ....."
400 PS / 800 Nm 0-100km/h 4,7s
Most independent tests give poor time than the Audi quotes (5,1 or 5,3s)
Good luck

Here are two tests of an S6 doing 0-60 in under 4 seconds.
Car and Driver: 3.7 seconds: http://www.caranddriver.com/audi/s6#
Motorweek 3.8 seconds: http://www.motorweek.org/reviews/roa...s/2013_audi_s6
These acceleration figures have been duplicated and bettered by owners. Audi's quoted 0-60 of 4.5 seconds is conservative. Full stop.
How about the S8? Audi USA claims 3.9 seconds to 60. That alone is probably hard for you to swallow given the 4600 pound curb weight being propelled by a claimed 520hp. However, the S8 is quicker than that:
Motortrend, 3.5 seconds: http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...s8_first_test/
Car and Driver, 3.6 seconds: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...s8-test-review
And what of the S4, which Audi USA claims is capable of a 4.9 second 0-60? Welp, that one too!
Motortrend, 4.4 seconds: http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...s4_first_test/
Road & Track, 4.4 seconds: http://www.roadandtrack.com/cm/roada...564774ca35.pdf
The new A3, with the 2.0? Audi USA claims 5.8 seconds.
Motortrend, 5.4 seconds: http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...est/specs.html
Edmunds, 5.4 seconds: http://www.edmunds.com/audi/a3/2015/...st-specs2.html
C&D, 5.4 seconds: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=980064
Need more evidence? How about the 911 Turbo S. Porsche quotes its 0-60 as 2.9 seconds.
Road and track, 2.6 seconds: http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-revi...s-65-7-roa0314
Car and Driver, 2.6 seconds: http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...-tested-review

The old rule of thumb about how much horsepower it takes to move a vehicle weighing however many pounds to 60mph and through the quarter mile no longer applies. There are a multitude of reasons for this: highly efficient, tightly spaced transmissions (8 speed auto, DSG, PDK etc etc), the proliferation of forced induction engines which have a swell of torque available off idle, launch control, a return to manufacturers underrating their engines (The 335 and the S4 are widely considered significantly underrated, Im sure the S6 is making a lot more than 420hp), and stickier rubber. These are the same reasons the ~4000lb 2009 GTR could accomplish the 1/4 in 11.7seconds with a claimed 480hp.
As I've clearly demonstrated, VAG is known to underrate the performance of their vehicles, which is much better than the alternative.

Way to let him have it, Dave!
data data data...
real-world measurements...
say what you want spijun.
I just clocked three runs at 5.11, 4.87, & 5.02. (0-60 MPH)
That averages 5.0 seconds, bone stock, at sea level, with 93-octane.
Now, I'm not speed racer, and this one isn't special.
It falls within the standard deviation and none of your "data" will change that fact.

FIFTH GEAR SQ5TDI 0-62mph
0-62mph first attempt at 6.4sec
0-62mph with launch the control 5,4sec
Note: SQ5 TDI has better acceleration than SQ5 TFSI according Audi (5,1 vs 5,3)

Okay...that's 5.4 seconds to 62 MPH in a heavier diesel with the pano-roof and a full tank by an admitted amateur. That sounds spot on.
Are you saying that you doubt that the U.S. spec, non-diesel, non-pano, with just under a half-tank of 93 octane gasoline can make 60 MPH in 5.0 seconds at sea level? Really???
The only thing that makes mine different than most others in the U.S., is the deletion of over 100 pounds from the roof. I'll bet others who omitted it see similar numbers. It shouldn't be hard to imagine what I now know as fact.

Heavier diesel, how much heavier, by as much 20kg
so heavier diesel has better acceleration than gasoline engines due to 650Nm which is 40% more than TFSI
"admitted amateur" - AMATEUR or not, He is a member of team "FIFTH GEAR"
Do you need to be a pro, push the accelerator pedal to the floor let the brake, may is need for manual transmission but not for automatic
Place the evidence and then I'll believe it, until then for me it is impossible to 0-100km/h for 5,0s
Good luck
End of story for me

Not difficult to understand why that much weight would effect handling, but are you sure it's really more than 100 lbs? I understand it's more than the sunroof itself (the frame and motor, perhaps additional structure in the roof, etc.) but could all that really total more than 100 lbs? I would have guessed less than half that, wow. Where did you read that it adds more than 100 lbs? Thanks.

2015 Prices
Do the new prices typically come out before the new models arrive? It would seem logical that between now and when the first deliveries hit the dealers, the new price list would be published. Do any veteran Audi owners have any experience with the process?
