Audi would have liked it to be true , but it is impossible

Here's some data. I know this is not 60mph than 62mph but .......

SQ5 3.0TFSI 354PS / 470Nm 0-100 km/h - 5,3 s
SQ5 3.0TDI 313PS / 650Nm 0-100 km/h - 5,1 s

SQ5 3.0TDI:
ABT Tuning 360PS / 700Nm 0-100 km/h 4.9 s

B&B stage1 365PS /750 Nm 0-100 km/h 4.9 s

4.8s I think it is unrealistic with 354PS / 470Nm

For the end - B&B stage2: 400 PS / 800 Nm 0-100km/h 4,7s

manufacturer quoted times are often inaccurate and tend towards conservative. the link i posted is an actual test - that and real world drag strip times are far better indicators of a vehicles performance than manufacturer quoted performance figures. see for example audi's quoted time of 4.5 seconds for the S6 which has been measured by numerous outfits as sub 4 seconds.

also, irrelevant but audi usa quotes the sq5 at 5.1s not 5.3. http://www.audiusa.com/models/audi-s...25155266327486

S6 for 4s ????? You must be kidding

How do you explain this: S6 with 540PS and 680Nm 0-100km/h (0-62mph) 4,5s

Audi USA quotes the SQ5 at 5.1s for 0-60 mph (0-96km/h) not 0-62 mph (0-100km/h)

From zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.3 seconds
http://www.audiusanews.com/pressrele...354-dynamic-hp
or
It sprints from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.3 seconds
https://www.audi-mediaservices.com/p..._now_with.html

How do you explain that SQ5 TDI with 365PS and 750Nm (which is 60% of torque )more, accelerates for 4.9s

"Motortrend got 4.8 with ....."

400 PS / 800 Nm 0-100km/h 4,7s

Most independent tests give poor time than the Audi quotes (5,1 or 5,3s)

Good luck

MotorTrend, although apparently biased, claim a 4.8-second 0-60 MPH time with the sunroof. I don't know why that is, but I'll bet that after my break-in period, I'll be able to clock consistent 4.9's in it. Deleting that sunroof does make a big difference in handling, but I'll do some of my own timing in another 200 miles. I'll let you know what I actually get.

So it's safe to say the 0-60 times will run 4.8 - 5.2 or so, depending on the driver, testing methods, weather conditions??? That doesn't seem like too wide of a variance for a CUV.

It isn't. My point is that the difference between it and an SQ5 with the pano-roof are very noticeable with respect to handling. As for raw speed difference, I believe I can get under five seconds, but won't try until it is broken-in. (Minimum 600 miles).

Audi provides data for acceleration 0-100 km/h which is obtained several times with the test drivers at the test track under ideal conditions (temperature, humidity, temperature runs, tire temperature, minimum weight ........).

The same data related to fuel consumption - in ideal conditions, and it is impossible to accomplish

Most manufacturers estimates seem to be on the conservative side vs. what some of the magazines etc. get. I'm sure part of that is to assure that buyers can achieve the advertised performance levels.

Of course it's your opinion.
Look at the data from my posts down.

How do you explain that SQ5 TDI with 365PS and 750Nm (which is 60% of torque more, than TFSI) accelerates for 4.9s

In Germany, all the tuning companies must undergo strict controls and tests to be able to get TUV approval. Their data are relevant
