2014 Q5 TDI H&R spring installation (before and after)
Finally got around to installing the springs
H&R Springs - Sport Springs (29001-1)
advertised
Front Lowering : 1.6in (1.7 actual measured)
Rear Lowering : 1.5in (1.5 actual measured)
Unfortunately the lighting conditions weren't the same for before and after pictures.
Initial impressions:
- Not a whole lot of difference in ride feel versus stock. But I just drove home from the shop in stop and go, so I didn't have a real chance to test it out.
- Ride feels much lower. It doesn't feel like a truck any more. I like that.
More later after I drive my normal commute with it.

Really does look so much better. It's the last mod on my list. Can't wait for the update on your driving impressions. Wondering what kind of difference the lowering might have on gas mileage, if any. Would expect it to be very slight but even 1 mpg would be welcome (lower car = less coefficient of drag).

JaXeN, I checked the H&R website: it seems the springs are not available for the SQ5. I know I was as vocal as any about the ride height vs what AoA initially stated but I'm kinda used to it now. Steve

Everytime I see one, I get overwhelmed with jealousy and feel the urge to lower as soon as spring hits.

Very tempting- the euro models have a different shock to go along with the shorter springs.
Would it matter over time with the US spec shocks (adaptive as I have the S- line as well) with the euro height springs??
Assume you had it re-aligned as well. Did you change the specs?
