Apple announces "Car Play" (Audi missing)
Today Apple announced that Car Play will appear in select vehicles starting later this year. Noticeably missing from car manufacturers (at this point) is Audi. I know Audi indicated Android alliances previously but sure hope they don't leave Audi Apple fans out in the cold.

Surprisingly the CarPlay actually works with QNX-based system (i.e. our MMI system) so... it's really up to Audi to provide integration.
I have a feeling it'll start with 2015 models at the earliest.

Technically Android can run on TOP of QNX... think it this way: QNX is more a low-level OS, while Android / iOS can provide extra platform to run on top of existing QNX platform.

I think there will be none of iOS in the new Audi models
Each OS has its advantages and disadvantages, there is no a perfect OS that will please everyone

As long as it's not going to end up like what Tesla is doing by putting a giant tablet into the center console lol.
