This is all documented in the wiring diagrams documents. If you're playing with wires, you should probably want the workshop manuals and wiring diagrams. erwin.audiusa.com, pay for a day, get all the PDFs for your VIN. But if this is a one time or rare lookup thing, you could use the documents online at cardiagn.com. They are pretty early versions typically, though.
That said, I thought I recently saw a post where someone had posted a dropbox of the 8R (B8 Q5) manuals. But I can't recall it offhand.

Hi @SMac770 ,
Appreciate the response. I am checking the website out. I found the wiring diagram at cardiagn.com. This is for 2008. I'm going to give it a shot and see if it works. Audi dint change much of the wiring from 2008 to 2014. Will keep this forum posted on udpates. Hopefully this works.

The tail light stuff changed a lot on the B8 A4 from incandescent to LED to B8.5 LED. I'd be cautious about blindly trusting B8.0 wiring for B8.5 when it comes to the tail lights. One thing you can probably bank on is the reverse wires will be black on left and black/white on right.
Do you have incandescent or LED tails on the 2014? Are you trying to find the wires at the lamp assembly end or the J393 control module end?

I have the LEDs. trying to find the wire at the lamp assembly. The reverse gear will trigger that light. Before I tap into it im going to test the power with a volt meter. Validate that I get 10plus volts when in revers and then I will tap.
Thanks for the black and black wire on the left, right side. I opened the panel on the and I could see those exact wires going into the bumper.
Will update the moment I get reading.

I ended up ordering the OEM hitch kit from Audi Rockville for $645 + $50 shipping = $695 total
The part number for the kit is: 80A092115B
It came with the wire harness and module. Part number on that box is: 80A055203E (Google gave me zero returns when searching for this part number).
I will install the hitch and wire kit, then run it to the dealer for coding.

It's curious they sent you 115B when that was replaced in production by 115D starting MY22, and both 115B and 115D were dropped replaced by 115F this past summer (115F being used in place of 115D starting Feb '23). According to the catalog.
And 80A055203 is an "electrical parts for hitch installation" part. But the only revs that seem to come up are 203B and 203F, both only for Europe market. But the catalog is "orderable stuff". Could be that box of parts exists, but is not for separate ordering.
The actual trailer control module J345 for a B9.5 should be 8W5 907 383 D.

Your links ??????
What are your links, they are old topics and you just copied the links to them, by the way they are useless because they are different cars
What do for Q7 first and second generation themes and Q5 2nd gen links have to do with the Q5 1st gen theme
Different parts as well as coding
