Same here scheduled for Thursday though. Hopefully they can take care of the Transmission tune for me as well

Default Works Fine Now

Completed today, looks to be working well.

The tranny software update makes a noticeable differnce as far as I can tell.

Ok... I feel like an idiot! I had my Q5 at the dealer for 4 days while they installed the camera chip (long story as to why it took them so long... but the service manager made up for all their issues by giving me $250 credit towards service). I had no idea there was a tranny update my MY2012 needed, or I would have directed them to do it. What exactly is it, and when I am back to the dealer in a few months for my complimentary 5K service, what should I direct them to do?

By the way, I have no complaints about my rear camera quality; I don't plan on doing long road trips in reverse, and it seems quite clear. Certainly clear enough to see if there is a dog, kid, trike in my path. Is it supposed to be able to do more than that?

Anybody have any ideas if I should apply my $250 credit towards AudiCare for future routine oil changes, or is AudiCare overpriced for what you get, meaning I would be better off to take my Q5 to the local high-end garage for routine oil changes after I have used up my credit??

Default Tranny Update

Some MY11s and MY12s are due in for a "37G1" campaign software update. You will find that thread elsewhere in this forum. If you are noticing some "uncertain shifting" in the low gears, your vehicle is likely to be on the list.

Our dealer was able to do that during the 5k, which happened to coincide with our camera chip install.

Thank you! Yes, that would describe mine; not noticeable all the time, but often enough to make me think, "Huh?"
